Petal Proofer is a lightweight spray designed to help preserve the integrity of fragile blooms. It forms an invisible barrier that helps prevent petals from prematurely dropping at the calyx — the base of the flower — especially in varieties prone to shattering such as mums, alstroemeria, camellias, and other sensitive flowers.

With a soft matte finish, it supports floral designs that need to stay fresh and intact during handling, transport, or display.

Application Tips

  • Shake the can well for 1 minute after hearing the mixing ball rattle.
  • Align the spray opening with the black dot on the can rim.
  • Spray in a well-ventilated area.
  • Make sure flower is clean, dry, and at room temperature before spraying.
  • Turn the bloom upside down and spray the calyx area while holding the can upright 15-18 in / 38-45 cm away.
  • Apply several light coats. Let dry between coats.
  • Allow the blossom to dry completely before refrigerating.
